Reiki

A powerful Japanese technique that channels universal life force energy through the hands to reduce stress, promote balance and relaxation.

Reiki enhances the body’s own innate ability to heal itself, helping to restore balance and harmony to the mind and body.

Reiki is a complementary form of energy healing in which a practitioner uses their hands and gentle touch to channel energy by placing their hands in a series of positions on, over or slightly above the body the client’s body.

Reiki has roots in ancient Japanese healing practices. The word Reiki means Reiki is made up of two parts ‘Rei’, meaning spiritually guided and ‘Ki’, meaning life force energy.  This energy can then balance the body’s energy centers which are known as chakras.

There are seven major chakras in the human body located at (1) the base of the spine, (2) near the navel, (3) at the solar plexus, (4) in the middle of the chest, (5) in the throat, (6) the centre of the brow and (7) the crown of the head. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain.

Reiki can act like a plunger to remove energy blockages. This can lead to feelings of deep relaxation and enhanced wellbeing.

Reiki can go back in time, to heal the past, the present and go into the future.
